Through PVD, a thick layer of gold is permanently bonded to a base of surgical grade stainless steel, fusing the finish directly to the metal rather than simply plating the surface. The result is a waterproof, scratch resistant, sweatproof and tarnish resistant coating designed to retain its appearance – no scratching, no flaking, no fading, or rubbing.
